Metallica ya tiene en sus manos su película 3D, Through The Never, un trabajo dirigido por Nimród Antal (cuyo último crédito es Predators) que tendrá su avant-premiere este 17 de septiembre. El sitio escogido para la largada está a metros del lugar de nacimiento de la banda: el Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center de San Rafael, California.
Una semana después llegará a las disquerías Through The Never, el disco en vivo que la banda de Hettfield lanza como soundtrack oficial del largometraje. Una edición de Blackened Recordings, el propio sello de la banda, que tendrá su versión en vinilo y doble CD. Un registro en el Edmonton and Rogers Arena de Vancouver donde la banda recorre buena parte de su historia. Este es el tracklist completo:
